| vatoloco... Dude, you are so right. Team ninja is the bomb. They are right on when it comes to making game to show off what the system can do. That's what I'm talking about. I love all those pics. I might just have to make this game one of the "I have to get" choices at the release of the systme. We gotta see Ninja Gaiden 2... Keep up the good work Team Ninja. Keep it coming...... |

| Yes, agreed, the reflection maps look much spiffier this time around, as do the normal maps and the post-processing pixel shader light bloom effects have been put to nifty utilization. |

| Not being mean about the 360 or anything, I mean I'm making sure to get one, but I still think DOA4 looks the same as the past DOA games kinda, I expect their hair to move around and stuff, it might but hair can move very freely. In the bottom left picture her hair would be falling over her shoulders and nearly covering her face. Ok I guess then that you wouldnt be able to see her, the picture with Tina kicking some girl looks good tho. I suppose I'm just asking too much of the game, maybe the DOA5 will look even more realistic :P. |

| Catherine... I have to say that your right about the characters looking plastic, but tell me how many CGI Image does not look so plastic... They all do. |
| by Fat Zombie @ 11 November 17:19 |
Final Fantasy : The Spirits Within. That was a CGI movie with people that didn't look plastic. Well, not much, at least. CGI and real-time rendered graphics are two different things in a strict, tehcnical sense. CGI being animations that have far more detailed models and have had far more effects and post processing techniques filtered onto them to be possible in real-time.
Either way, I'm not too impressed by this game from a visual side. I'll concede that the envirnoments and backgrounds do look fantastic. But that is not what the main focus of them game is. The main focus is it's characters, and other than slightly sharper textures, I don't really see any more quality than that which went into DOA3. No amount of over used motion-blurring can account for shoddy workmanship. |

| WHAT!!!! Shotty... Okay, every one is entitled to their own opinion. I don't think it's shotty. I think this is one of the best looking fighting games out there. Team Ninja is on top when it comes to graphics. This one will stand out as being one of the best. Keep it coming. DOA 4 Looks Great so far, I'm sure there is alot to see when it comes out. |

| May I ad that DOA 3 has one of the best Responce systems. I'm sure it will be the same for DOA 4. Excellent Game play. |

| say jon jon your absoulety right holmes. hell i keep saying that itagasin aint fucking joke to when it comes down to gameplay and graphics. how many fucking games that were on the original xbox that looked as good as ninja gaiden. anyways doa4 is fucking gonna kick every fighting game just you wait and see. and just wait till ninja gaiden 2 gets released then we will see whats up. and another these are just sreen shots i mean just wait till you buy and play the damn game. of course its not gonna look its best in screen shots. but yeah this game is gonna kick some ass. |
| by Wester @ 11 November 23:06 |
The only reason why a game would look plastic is due to the following reasons:
1) The illustrational renderer mode or specific shader of the Direct3D or OpenGL API renderer.
2) The techniques utilised, such as inverse specular mapping, normal mapping, the tighter and brighter values of the obdninmal directional lighting data info values, or whatever. |

Hey vatoloco get off my dick you little chicano bitch! Oh and DOA4 is going to be a great game like I said before. |
| by next-gen consoles @ 12 November 00:15 |

| by vatoloco @ 14 November 16:44 |
